Pull-A-Part Pizza

Last Thursday, we had a few friends over for a fun picnic/water play date. Dax had so much fun. It never ceases to amaze me the amount of energy kids have. If I ran, jumped, swam, and climbed as much as they did, I'd pass out at 5pm! I'm sure my little guy was thrilled that he had someone other then boring old mom to play with! He also only ate Cheetos and cupcakes for lunch, which probably made him feel like he was getting away with murder!

When he woke up from his nap, he asked me if the party was over. He also let me know that this day was the best!

I wanted my husband to see how much fun Dax had been having, so I decided to keep the party going. And by that, I mean I bought Dax a balloon, and decided to make pull-a-part pizza!

Pull-A-Part Pizza

1 Roll Pillsbury French Bread, unbaked
Olive Oil
1/4 C. Butter, softened
1 heaping T. Miracle Whip
1-1/2 C. cheese, I used mozzarella, but you can use whatever
Pepperoni, chopped
Olives, sliced
1-2 Green onions, diced

**This pizza is so easy to change up. You can really add any of your favorite ingredients. These just happen to be what I know my family likes. Also, this pizza ends up being about a medium size. If you have a bigger family, double the ingredients for a large. **

- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Spray a pizza pan with non-stick cooking spray, and set aside.

- Open the french bread, and slice in half the long way. Cut each side into 16 pieces. Each piece should resemble something sort of like a half moon. Place on pizza pan fairly close together. Leave a 1/2 inch gap towards the edges. Brush with olive oil. Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until lightly browned.

- While that is baking, mix together butter, miracle whip, cheese, and desired ingredients. It should resemble a cheese paste when you've got it all together.

- Once you pull the crust from the oven, lower the temperature to 325 degrees. Spread the cheese mixture over the top, and place back in the oven for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.

We like to serve this with ranch and marinara on the side for dipping. Dax thought it was so much fun to pull pieces off and dip them in the sauces! It turned out to be a great way to end a fun day!

Can we sub regular mayo for the miracle whip? My fam won't eat it/we don't keep it on hand. This looks fabu though and I'd love to make it for my family thank you for sharing!

You can substitute mayo. I can't get anyone in our house to eat the stuff, but I think it would be really good with mayo instead of miricale whip.
